With many of my packages, digital images are either a purchase option or included in the package.  With that comes the question, "How do we download our images"?

Well here's how.

Downloading from a computer:

1.     You will receive a text or an email with a link to your personalized gallery.  Use your mouse or trackpad to click on that link.

2.  Once you click on that link you will be taken to your gallery.  It will look a little like this:

3.     Search through the images.  When you find one you like, click on it.  It will be brought to your screen as the main photo.

4.     Once the photo you have chosen is on the screen, click on the "download" button on the top center right hand side above the photo.

5.     Once you've clicked on that, the photo will automatically download and be saved to your "download folder" on your computer.  I recommend saving your digital images on a drive or a back up disk as well as printing out at least one copy of each image you care about.  :)

Saving Images on your phone

If you want images saved onto your phone for web-sharing or just to have saved to your phone and/or phone screen, please do not screen shot the images as that is a much lower quality of image. You can download the image from your gallery.

Downloading from a phone.

1.    Go to either the email link (as pictured in previous example above) or if you have a text of the link.

2.     Click on the link bubble in the message.  Or the link in an email from your phone's email app.  Next, you will be taken to the gallery that will look something like this:

3.     Find a photo you like and want downloaded to your phone.  Click on it.  It will then be pulled forward as the primary image on the screen.

4.     Next, click the "download" button on the top right hand center of the photo.

5.     After this your phone screen will change to a white screen.  The images will begin to download onto that screen.  Speed of the download will depend on your internet connection at the time.  For faster results and to preserve the battery power on your cell, it's best to download images while connected to the internet.

Wait for the entire image to fully download onto your screen.

6.  Once the image appears fully on your screen.  Click the save/upload icon on the bottom of your phone screen.

7.  Next a menu will appear on the screen.  Click the "Save Photo" icon.

Now your newly downloaded image is saved onto your phone with your photos.  You are free to use it or share as you please for personal purposes only.  :)

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!!  :)

Thank you so much for using me as your photographer or downloading an image from one of the galleries.  As always, if you like what you see and will be in need of a photographer for portrait or event photography, please let me know!  I'd love to work with you!!  You can email me anytime at jtphotographyokc@gmail.com or message me on FB at www.facebook.com/jtphotographyokc

Bryan & Jessie http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2015/6/bryan-jessie Bryan & Jessie were married in April at Boulevard Chapel in Edmond OK.  It was a sweet ceremony between a big family and close friends!  I met Jessie & Bryan almost 8 months earlier as they were planning their wedding.  We met for a meeting in a nearby coffee shop and instantly felt like we were friends.  As I watched them with each other and friends on their wedding day, I realized they both have that affect on all they meet.  They are both warm and fun people and that shows in the moment you are introduced to them.

We got to do their engagement session at the Fair in September and it truly seemed as though they had known each other for a lifetime!!  I will miss talking to them regularly and I know they will build a beautiful life together!!!  Congratulations Bryan & Jessie!!!

Feb 28 2015 http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2015/5/feb-28-2015 This wedding story starts with a family session for a very active and happy 2 year old boy…

The next part of this story is that their wedding was on Feb 28th of 2015.  Which is also the day of the last big snow in Oklahoma.  So my Canadian husband, who had a gig cancel due to weather, opted to drive us to Watonga and wait in the car for 5 hours while me and my Hannah (second shooter) shot the wedding. I love that man!!!

But back to this love story…. The day started at the church with all the girls getting ready in a separate building at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

While I hung out with the girls my second shooter from heaven, also known as Hannah, was hanging with the guys…

and then with the little girls…

Photos are fun!!!

After the bride got ready, she opened a gift from her "almost" husband.

After we wiped the tears from the sweet letter, it was time to say "I do"!

And of course the kiss...

Nice and sweet!  And now they're married!!

The End.

Ha ha… Just kidding, You didn't think I would have snow outside, a gorgeous bride, an amazing dress and not get snow pictures do you?  Even though it was winter and we were losing light, we still did it!

So pretty….

And now we dance!…

Baby L Turns 1!! http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2015/5/baby-l-turns-1 I mainly blog wedding, but every now and then I get to do a full year for a family and I'm fully honored that they trust me to do that much documenting of their family!!!  This family is one such family.  I started photographing their little guy at 3 months old.

Then they asked me back for six months…

and may I just say OH. MY. GOSH!!!  Cuteness overload! I love how candid and comfortable this family is, just being a family.

Then at 9 months… It was cold so we did images inside..

And then he was 1!!

Thank you for letting me document this!  Every family I'm blessed with knowing through this has a special little place in my heart and I'm always a little sad when a session series or a wedding is over.  I love getting to know the people who let me see a glimpse of their lives.  :)

The beginning of baby Z http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2015/5/the-beginning-of-baby-z Meet my friend, and super talented singer for the Groove Merchants, out of OKC!  She let me do some bridal portraits of her in her gorgeous dress in the gardens at St Luke's Methodist Church.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage! Well, first the belly then the baby carriage… duh!

What maternity session is complete without the four-legged babies being included?  Especially when they are this stinking cute!!

I was honored when she asked me to photograph her birth.  I don't do this for just anyone but her beauty baby and her, I was there!

Being born can be really tough… ;)

But, a few days in your new home with lots of love and a mommy and daddy holding you, well it's worth it in the end. Plus we get to do pretty pictures after that…

And of course for a mommy with a love for clothes, and more importantly shoes… We had to tie that in…

Mr & Mrs Mendoza http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2015/5/mr-mrs-mendoza I was lucky enough to shoot these two for their wedding and engagement session.  It was a beautiful engagement session in the fall at Lake Overholser in Yukon/Bethany area complete with a fall sunset!!

They even brought along their doggies for a few of the photos!!

Their wedding was a New Year wedding on Jan 2 at Noah's Event center in Oklahoma City. Her colors were purple and white!

Her hair was done by Lindsay Mingee and her make-up was done by Celina Marie Bernier

I stayed with the girls as they got ready and my amazing second shooter/assistant Hannah Dougan hung out with the guys!

Then it was time to say "I do".

The bride sweetly surprised the groom, and judging by the gasp in the room, half of the attendees by reciting her wedding vows in spanish.  It's really hard to shoot a wedding with tears welling up and rolling down your cheeks.  It was truly a sweet moment!

With the vows said, now it's time to kiss that bride!! They kept it short (and quick) and sweet!!

They're married!!!  Now the fun starts…

Sheryl & De'Shaun Say "I do" http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2015/5/sheryl-deshaun-say-i-do My journey started with these two in the early part of 2014 with engagement images set before I attended 80's prom in downtown Tulsa.  It was a fun day filled with photos at the Max Retropub during a crazy marathon of sorts and street party followed up by the 80's prom I attended and had a blast at.

Fast forward to 11/22/14 at the double tree hotel in downtown Tulsa.  Everything actually ran smoothly, bride was cool and calm, everything was setting up as per schedule and the entire day ran smooth!!!

Cisco & Kim http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2014/12/cisco-kim I first met Kim and Cisco at their engagement session and I knew right away we would get along great!  They are both super laid back but appreciate a quirky, sarcastic sense of humor!  Working with them for their engagement photos was a breeze, I could have happily kept shooting for another hour.

They were married on Nov 15th at Creekside Chapel in Edmond.  It was a packed house!  They had plenty of family and friends to support them and lots of absolutely adorable kiddos.  During the process of getting ready, I witnessed absolutely no nerves from either side.  Everyone was relaxed and ready to get started! They waited until the wedding to see each other and watching the look on his face was precious!  Once the ceremony was done, the reception was in full swing!  The dance floor was never empty and everyone was having a blast taking "selfless" and sharing hugs!  We had a lot of fun taking photos that night.  The bride and groom were such good sports, they even snuck out in the dark to get one final night shot.  :)

Marisa and Zack http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2014/12/marisa-and-zack This adorable couple was married on Nov 10th,  the day before veterans day! They had a very fitting military theme of red, white and blue.  They live out of state, but traveled to Oklahoma for the wedding to be near family. The first thing I noticed about this group was how close they all seemed.  Everyone was very comfortable in their own skin and everyone had a job to help this ceremony pull together.

It was a small ceremony at the Grandison Inn in OKC located at 1200 North Shartel Avenue.  The Bride, her grandmother and her aunt stayed in an upstairs room getting ready together while I took detail shots.  Meanwhile the groom was downstairs helping and waiting.

They opted to do a first look and their family was so excited.  They watched through windows and right off of the porch.  It was truly a fun and supportive group and I had so much fun shooting this wedding for them!

Nicole & Andy http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2014/11/nicole-andy Nicole and Andy got married at Creekside Chapel in Edmond OKC.  I also did their engagement photos in downtown Yukon.  I had a blast working with them.  Andy is sweet and Nicole is so much fun!  I'm glad I got to shoot their wedding.  :)

Blog Catch up... http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2014/11/blog-catch-up Okay, It's no secret  that I am the worst at keeping up with my blog… I know, and I am here freely admitting to that… :)

So instead of writing each and every session out from July to now (Nov., I know, don't judge me… ).  I'm going to do some highlights of my

favorite-est photos that aren't on the blog currently.  :)

These are a few from an adorable wedding I got to assist with Rosie Cheeks Photography.  I took and edited these images from a wedding at The Sand Plum in Guthrie Oklahoma.

The next wedding we did together was a beautiful, shabby/country style wedding at the bride's parent's home.

Here are a few from a wedding I assisted also with Rosie Cheeks at Clauren Ridge Vineyard in Edmond Oklahoma.

Thank you for looking through my pictures… If you like my work, please tell friends and family.  Follow me on Facebook.  :)

It's Important to book ahead for baby photos http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2014/7/its-important-to-book-ahead-for-baby-photos I get so many requests for newborn shots after the baby is born, and it's so sad because I am usually booked or they can't afford the fee right up front.  That is why it is so important to plan ahead.  Many photographers will work with you on payments as well as flexibility with the due date, so that we can ensure we get your baby in before they are 12 days old.

I prefer to work with newborns under 12 days old.  They still have that squishy face and are still very flexible and sleep the majority of the day. So when we book in advance I really just make sure I have a few spots available two weeks before and after your due date.  :)

I get asked why I charge more for my newborn sessions too.  Two reasons, one is a typical newborn session can last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours.  I typically cap at 4 hours, which means we call it and go with what we have.  So I have to make sure I have a reasonable rate for that much time as well as I usually can't book anything else after for that day.  They also require much more editing.  Those pictures of kiddos on logs, or babies on swings, stacks of books, your name it aren't real.  They aren't real in the sense that they aren't actually hanging freely on a swing or alone in the woods on a log.  The popular pictures of those smoothy faces are edited also.  They are typically made up of three photos with parents holding the child on one side at a time and then the photographer works to edit out the unwanted parts.  This kind of editing can slow a photographer down considerably.  :)

So it's best to decide if that is something you want shortly after finding out you are pregnant.  You can find photographers that work out payment plans, do gift certificates so friends/family/co-workers can chip in and purchase the certificate, or keep a look out for specials.  Those beautiful creative newborn images are so hard to create and recreate if you don't have experience.  Don't believe me? Google newborn Pinterest fails.  Then you'll believe me.  LOL

These images will live on long before we will, so do some research, find a photographer that will work with you.

For a limited time I'm offering a deep discount for 2014 newborn/maternity sessions.  You can make payments, or I do offer gift certificates.

Thunderbird Chapel Wedding http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2014/6/thunderbird-chapel-wedding I have never had an issue taking photos because I was crying at the beautiful moments that I was photographing, until now.  There was so much love and happiness in the air it was intoxicating, in a good way.  This couple was sweet and so in love and their families were already like one huge family.  It was so much fun to be a part of.  I shot this wedding at Thunderbird Chapel in Norman as a second shooter for Rosie with Rosie Cheeks Photography.

Maria Maternity Session http://jtphotographyokc.com/blog/2014/6/maria-maternity-session No joke, I had to ask these two to stop kissing.  Talk about being giddy in love.  It was adorable to watch and I hope I captured just an ounce of their love in these photos.  That is going to be one adored baby boy.  :)
